On Wednesday, September 21st at 6pm, we will be at the New Canaan Library and joined by Dana Jackson, Editor and Publisher Edible Nutmeg Magazine.
Since 2006, Edible Nutmeg has been Connecticut’s source for information about regional food, farming, sustainability, and the local communities that support it. The print edition is published quarterly and can be found in restaurants and cafes, grocery stores, farmers’ markets, bookstores, retail shops, fitness centers, hotels, and resorts throughout western Connecticut.
We will talk about the importance of supporting local farms and purveyors and also show footage from our Edible on the Road series, which has been sponsored by Walter Stewart's Market.
Wave Hill Breads, Black Hog Brewery and Copp's Island Oysters will be providing food and refreshments.
